Who doesn’t love a good deal? Or a good hair day? You can get both with the Perfectwo curling wand. I purchased it from Amazon a few months ago (you can find it here) at $15-$20. Since writing this post, I realized that it’s now $60, but I’m sure you’ll be able to find it on a sale. If you’re interested after reading this post, you can check occasionally for a sale or follow our blog, I’ll do my best to update you if it does go on a sale. Either way, this wand is practical and convenient and will be worth every penny.
The wand has a beautiful sleek white and gold design. It’s a tapered wand, which means that it’s larger by the handle and smaller at the end, giving a more natural curl. The size is 1 inch to 1/2 and inch. It has 3 buttons: a power button, and two to control the temperature, which is shown on a small display screen.
The ability to adjust the heat setting is probably my favorite feature. I feel much more comfortable using a wand where you can control the temperature and always know what degree it’s at, verses a wand with only an on/off switch. All hair types are different, and some types and textures require using more heat, while others can get away with much less heat. Heat settings shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all as when using an on/off wand, you could be using much more heat than is necessary for your hair, which can be more damaging. The Perfectwo wand can be set between 200 and 410 degrees, for a total of 22 options. That’s the most options for heat settings I’ve ever seen on a hot tool.
Another thing I love about this wand is how fast it heats up. I usually set the heat to somewhere between 300 and 350 degrees, and the wand only takes around 30 seconds to reach that heat, which makes it perfect for busy morning routines where you don’t have time to wait for your wand to heat up. The display shows exactly what temperature the wand is at all times, so you know when it has reached the correct temperature and is ready to be used.
Overall, I was really impressed and happy with Perfectwo’s wand, but disappointed to see that the price went up. It’s still a great wand, it’ll be worth every penny. : ) Comment if there’s anything else you want to know about the wand that I forgot to mention. Thanks for reading!
